RACING AREA

The championship sailing area is an eight-mile (12,9 Km) long stretch on Lake Balaton. To the west and east of the race area lie the rest of the Lake Balaton.

The water is in average 2-5 meters deep. No predominant wind direction can be observed, but wind conditions at Lake Balaton are overall balanced, providing challenging and exciting conditions for racing.
